Life in an Apartment

First of all we have sold the old house as of the 22nd and have a close date for the new house one August 5th if all goes as planned. Which means that for the next 2 weeks we will be living in an apartment! We were blessed to find a two bedroom apartment through a friend of a friend. It is a nice apartment and has a full kitchen and a washer/dryer which makes life so much easier with six kids. The hardest part is trying to keep six kids quiet in an apartment. We have heard that our upstairs neighbor is a state trooper that works nights and sleeps during the day! So far we have been here a week and no complaints yet. So I guess we will just keep trying to be out and about during the day! Which sometimes is hard to do when it is 103 everyday. But thankfully my kids LOVE the park no matter how hot. A few things I want to remember from this time of our lives is the funny things that the babies have been saying and doing. All the sudden Vivi's language has really exploded and her favorite saying is "my COLOR!!!" anytime she sees pink. Or "Lexie's COLOR!!!!" when she sees purple or "Charlie's COLOR !!!!!" when she sees yellow. Her other thing is "HepYOU" which means she wants to help me. And if something does not work like one of the lights in the apartments she says "it needs badies" which means it needs batteries. and "my daddy needs to buy more" those are a few of her new sayings that crack me up most times except when she is talking as loud as she can in the apartment. (she is a very loud talker just like her dad) Now for some of Charlie's sayings. She asked me the other day at the stop light as I sped up to go around another car if I was going to "Race". She loves yellow cars/trucks/motorcycles/bikes anything with wheels and she says they are her faviorite and she wants to go FAST!!!!!!!!!! The other cute thing she says is she wants a "SamBurger" = hamburger at McDonalds. and she loves "finch fries" . Lexie has been talking for months in complete sentences right now she seems to have slowed down and she is really really really into TV. They all love Dora, Wonder Pets, Yo Gabba Gabba and Fresh Beat Band.
