Seven years ago today Doug and I decided to start a family. Little did we know how long it would take to make the family we had always dreamed of. We both were open to foster or adopt even before we found out that we had infertility issues. After 4 years of trying to get pregnant we started the process of adoption and we were blessed with our three wonderful kids, Koko, Trevor and Jazzy. Then 3 years later we decided to try infertility treatments again but this time we had a deadline of how long we would try our deadline was my 35th birthday (April 19, 2008) So in December of 2007 we started seeing Dr. Jeffery Youngkin and started Gonal F shots in January. The first and second attempt did not work but March 18, 2008 (Doug's 36th birthday) we hit the jackpot. God made it work and we were blessed with the conception of our 3 miracle babies. And they were born on October 9th 2008. To make a long story short we tried for 7 years and now have 6 beautiful babies and our family is complete. Thanks for all the prayers over the years that have helped us see our dreams come true.

Hi Sherry - I just wanted to say congratulations - your girls are beautiful, and doing so well! We used Dr. Youngkin as well (our triplets were born July 10th!), did he deliver yours also?

Congrats on the girls doing so well, I can't believe how much they have grown already.
They are so cute in their Halloween Costumes. Glad to here the other 3 are doing well too. My Grand Daughter goes to special classes too, she is doing great in kindergarden, much better than pre-k. She has hyperlexia, some people think she has autism but it isn't although it has alot of the same characters of autism. She is incrediable smart in some areas and lacking in others, she is 5 and reads probably on a second or third grade level.
But any way so much for that....just really happy to see you and the rest of your family doing so well.
Hopefully everyone will be home soon. When you come home to Melbourne with them, let me know.I would love to see them.
